Re-staging Goya

Premier étage; Hell

Dans cet article, je vais parler de la premiére exposition solo de Jake & Dinos Chapman en Turquie intitulé "Dans le Royaume des Senseless" qui est organisée par Nick Hackworth.

L'exposition prend la consommation culte de la modernité et de l'art contemporain avec un détail subtil et un système critique de croyance dans le progrès vide. Tout d'abord, permettez-moi de dire que vous rencontrerez souvent des traces de Goya (Francisco de Goya y Lucientes 1746-1819) dans les œuvres d'art. Parce que beaucoup de pièces sont liées aux œuvres et des idées de Goya. Leur catalogue est également signalé que Chapman avait produit plus d'un millier d'œuvres qui l'utilisent avec Goya. Je vous suggère d’examiner Goya et ses oeuvres d'art, en particulier la série de désastres de la guerre, avant de visiter l'exposition.

Une autre figure active est Nietzcsch à, sa thèse est que l'émergence du rationalisme était un carastroph pour l
a culture grecque et l'histoire philosophique de l'Occident, parallèlement à Goya et le thème de l'exposition. Peut-être la lecture du livre de Nietzcsch (La Naissance de la tragédie) peut vous donner une idée de l'exposition.

L'exposition se compose de trois parties;

Premier étage; "Hell"; Il y a des milliers de modèles militaires nazis très détaillées, y compris Hitler et Ronald McDonald.

Deuxième étage; «Nous sommes artistes"; Il est le premier travail au néon par Jake et Dinos Chapman

Troisième étage; "Venez et voyez"; Cet étage est plein d'œuvres en deux dimensions, de sculptures et de beaux portraits.

Second floor; We are Artists 

In this article, I will talk about the first solo exhbition of Jake & Dinos Chapman in Turkey entitled “In the Realm of the Senseless” which is curated by Nick Hackworth.

The exhibition takes consumption and contemporary art cult of modernity with a subtle detail and a critical system of belief in empty progress. First of all, let me say that you will often encounter with traces of Goya (Francisco de Goya y Lucientes 1746-1819) in the artworks.  Because many pieces are related to Goya's works and ideas. Their catalog is also reported that Chapmans had produced over one thousand works that use or with Goya. I suggest you examine Goya and his artworks, especially the series of Disasters of War, before visiting the exhibition.

Another active figure is Nietzcsche, its thesis is that the emergence of rationalism was a carastrophe for Greek culture and the philosophical history of the West, parallel to Goya and theme of the exhibition. Perhaps reading the book of Nietzcsche (The Birth of Tragedy) can give you an idea about the exhibition.

The exhibition consists of three parts;

First floor; "Hell"; There are thousands of highly detailed Nazi military models, including Hitler and Ronald McDonald.

Second floor; "We are Artists"; There is the first neon work by Jake and Dinos Chapman

Third floor; "Come and See"; This floor is full of two-dimensional works, sculptures and beautiful portraits.

Üçüncü kat; Gelin Görün

Küratörlüğünü Nick Hackworth’un yaptığı Jake ve Dinos Chapman’ın Türkiye’deki ilk kişisel sergisi olan “Anlamsızlık Âleminde’ den bahsedeceğim bu yazımda.

 Sergi, tüketim ve günümüz çağdaş sanat kültürünün boş ilerleme inancını oldukça ince detaylar ve eleştirel bir sistemle tiye alıyor. Öncelikle söylemeliyim ki eserlerde Goya’nın (Francisco de Goya y Lucientes 1746-1819) izlerine sık sık rastlayacaksınız. Çünkü çok sayıda parça Goya’nın eser ve fikirleri ile bağlantı halinde. Hatta kataloglarında Chapmanların Goya ile bağlantılı binin üzerinde iş yaptığı da söyleniyor. Bu nedenle sergiyi gezmeden önce Goya ve onun yapıtlarını, özellikle de Savaşın Felaketleri” serisini incelemenizi öneririm.

 Bir diğer etkin isim ise Nietzcsche, sergide Goya’ya ve serginin temasına paralel olarak akılcılığın ortaya çıkışının, Yunan kültürü ve Batı’nın felsefi tarihi için bir felaket olduğu fikri üzerinde duruluyor. Belki sergi gezilmeden Tragedyanın Doğuşu isimli kitabı okumak, bu anlamda fikir verici olabilir.

Sergi üç bölümden oluşuyor;

Birinci kat; “Cehennem” ; Son derece ayrıntılı bir şekilde işlenmiş binlerce Nazi askeri maketi, Hitler ve Ronald McDonald gibi figürler yer alıyor.

İkinci kat; “Sanatçıyız Biz”; Jake ve Dinos Chapman’ın bugüne kadar gerçekleştirdiği ilk neon çalışma bu katta.

Üçüncü kat; “Gelin Görün”; Bu kat ise iki boyutlu çalışmalar, heykeller ve birbirinden güzel portrelerle dolu.

Paul Alexis Lit Des Zola Emile Avant II

      Je veux écrire quelque chose en français pour un changement. C'est difficile, mais je suis excité. Je vais commencer à utiliser des phrases de base. Laissez-moi partir de zéro. Je voudrais me présenter de nouveau .Mon nom est Şebnem. Ylajali est mon surnom. Si vous êtes curieux de de connaître la signification de ce second nom, vous devriez lire Hunger de Knut Hamsun.

      J'ai petite sphère et de grands rêves. Sur cette page je vais parler de choses qui me font rêver. À ce moment mon préféré est Paul Cezanne et ses oeuvres. Il est génial. Par ailleurs, il y aura un film sur l'amitié de Paul Cézanne et Emile Zola, deux figures importantes Si du 19ème siècle à l'Institut français.      Pour une note de fin, j'aimerais expliquer "vioge"; J'ai combiné deux mots français violet et rouge. J'adore ces couleurs.

   *Quoi qu'il en soit, je vais écrire quelques petites notes françaises pour mes tous les articles la prochaine fois.

Paul Alexis Reading at Zola's House

    I want to write something in French for a change. It may prove to be too difficult, but I am excited. For now, I will pace myself by using basic sentences. Let me start at the beginning. I would like to re-introduce myself.. My given name is Şebnem, but my nickname is Ylajali. If you are curious about the meaning of that second name, you can discover its meaning for yourself in Knut Hamsun’s book, Hunger.

    I have small sphere of that I exist in, although I possess tremendous dreams. In this blog I will discuss things that inspire me . Currently my favorite artist is Paul Cézanne; I really admire his work. He has an amazing degree of talent. By the way, there is going to be a new movie about Paul Cézanne, pertaining to his friendship with fellow artist Emile Zola. They were both very prominent figures in the French Institute during the 19th century. .Details can be found on the link below.

   For an endnote, I think it would be helpful to the title of my blog “Vioge.” I created it by combining two French words: violet (purple) and rouge (red). I love this pair of colors.

Anyhow.. I will be writing short French notes for each article from now on.

Cezanne ve Emile Zola

  Artık sayfamda Fransızca ’ya da yer vermek istiyorum. Benim için çok zor ama heyecan verici. İlk adımda basit cümleleri kullanarak başlayacağım. Sıfırdan başlamak gerekirse ismim Şebnem. Ylajali de benim takma adım. Ylajali nedir merak edenler anlamını Knut Hamsun’ın Açlık isimli kitabında bulabilirler. 

  Küçük bir dünyam ve büyük hayallerim var. Bu sayfada ise özellikle bana hayal kurdurabilen şeyler hakkında konuşacağım. Şu an için favorim Paul Cezanne ve onun tüm eserleri. Gerçekten inanılmaz biri. Bu arada, ilgilenenler için görülmeye değer bir film olacak Fransız Enstitüsünde. Film 19. yüzyılın iki önemli ismi Paul Cezanne ve Emile Zola’nın dostluğunu anlatıyor.   Son olarak “vioge” ‘u açıklamak istiyorum. Tek başına bir anlamı olmayan bu kelime sevdiğim iki rengin; Violet (mor) ve Rouge (kırmızı)’nın birleşiminden oluşuyor.
